Licensing

How SRSA NEST licences work: licence types, device activation and management in your customer account.

Current state: Licences are activated directly in the program: Help → Licence, enter the key and click Activate. Without a licence the program runs as a full 30-day trial; after that, export requires a licence.

Licence types

Trial

Full functionality for a limited number of days to test the program on your own parts.

Monthly

Flexible subscription billed monthly – ideal for peaks in production.

Annual

Subscription for one year including all updates released during that time.

Perpetual

A one-time purchase without expiry, with updates for the period stated in the plan.

Activation and devices

Each licence has a key in the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
The licence is activated on a computer; the number of computers depends on the plan.
In your customer account you see all licences, their expiry and activated computers, and you can release a computer yourself – for example when replacing a PC.
A device-bound licence stays on one computer; it is moved by our support.
The program works offline for 14 days after the last successful online check.

Privacy

Only an anonymous fingerprint of the computer (a hash), its name and the program version are sent for activation. Drawings, projects and parts never leave your computer.
